Recipe Baked Apple 6 baking apples 1 tsp cinnamon ½ cup sugar 6 drops red food colouring 1 tbsp butter or margarine ¼ cup dry white wine ¼ cup water Wash, dry and core the apples. Pare off a little of the skin from the top of each apple. Put the sugar replacement in the cored apples, and arrange them in a baking pan. Combine the butter, cinnamon, red food colouring, wine and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, and pour over the apples. Bake in a 375°F oven for 45 minutes, or until apples re tender, basing frequently. Cool. |
